Priyanka Chopra is witty and how!
Excited about her Baywatch (her Hollywood debut where she is a classy and charming villain) release in India on June 2, the sassy Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra becomes the latest sensation to make it to the show 73 Questions by Vogue after Taylor Swift, Emma Stone, Daniel Radcliffe, Amy Adams, Blake Lively and Selena Gomez.
As in her movies and TV series, Quantico, she stands out with her wit, her presence of mind and her quirk even in the series. Her suave answers are as interesting as the 73 rapid fire questions and even as it feels at the start like it is going to be a long interview with so many questions, it is not. Rather, it does not feel like an interview at all as Priyanka manages to show quite a bit of her beautiful NYC home and slays the questions like a queen packing it with some fun-filled action, humour and romance (winks!)! Sounds like an entertaining flick in there?
Well, there is more to it. Chopra being among Time’s “100 Most Influential People in the World” surely packs some inspiration for you with her aspirations touching sky high!
Watch her interesting little quiz and her sporty answers here. You’d get to know her way better (from the worst pick-up lines used on her to her dream co-actors in Hollywood) and surely be left asking for more!
A starry affair, this one!

A day left to the release of the biopic, Sachin – A Billion Dreams, the Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar hosted two different screenings in a premiere for his film in Mumbai yesterday where Cricketers and Bollywood biggies graced the event. From Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma to the Bachchans to Ambanis, Ranveer, Shahrukh and Aamir Khan, Kirti Sanon, Shreya Ghoshal, A.R. Rahman and MS Dhoni who also appears in the trailer of the film – many star attractions decided to be a part of the film premiere.
The entire Indian Cricket team planned to drop in at the premiere too before taking off for the Champions Trophy tournament in England. The Mumbai Cricket team along with sports personalities like Vijender Singh set the stage. Even the newly-engaged couple, Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge were seen posing for the shutterbugs while the mega gala also witnessed Asha Bhosle, John Abraham and Anil Kapoor.
The event was one of a kind with its own energy, high spirit and liveliness. The experience will also be one-of-a-kind for Sachin when the docu-drama directed by British filmmaker, James Erskine who was nominated for Emmy Awards, releases on 26th May. Let’s see if the most anticipated film of the year becomes a high grossing film too!
When Hollywood meets Bollywood: Brad Pitt and Shahrukh had a great time together….in Mumbai!
— Netflix India (@NetflixIndia) May 25, 2017
After being in the limelight for his divorce with Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt became quite the sensation on his visit to Mumbai, India to promote his upcoming movie, War Machine as he met the Bollywood Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan yesterday in a plush hotel room where Khan attended the film’s promotional event and believed to have accompanied Pitt on the stage as well.
The event might have got way more attention had there been some confirmed coverage on his India visit and again, if it would have been publicized the way it did for Justin Bieber’s India concert off late and not kept as an exclusive hush-hush affair. Pitt is on a global tour to promote his film, India being one of his stops.
However, when Bollywood and Hollywood giants come together, things turn out to be interesting. Not only did they stand tall for the camera, they also discussed cinema and their conversation saw intermittent amounts of entertainment with dance moves, talking about Bollywood movies and why Pitt thinks he can’t make it in Bollywood. Some secrets were also spilled during the happening session, while Shahrukh pitched how the lack of good technology stops us from good storytelling, unlike in Hollywood.
The actor-producer Jodi have quite a number of similarities too that make them such a fantastic combination for an entertaining and intellectual session like this. Wit and humour was again a staple here like it is always with superstars, with both talking about how they could not play a musical instrument or play with cards for their movie roles and someone else had to do it for them.
Promoting Netflix (as Netflix hosted the event, is screening the premiere and is the distributor for the film), chatting like close buddies, some debates, interviews, discussions with each other on stardom, future of cinema, posing for pictures and some fun facts later, Brad Pitt moved on to attend a screening of War Machine in Mumbai with Director David Michod and producers Jeremy Kleiner and Dede Gardner.
The satirical war drama is inspired by the book, The Operators: The Wild & Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan by Michael Hastings and it will witness Pitt as essaying the role of US General Glen McMahon, the highs and lows of his life and his final decline.
Pitt’s last visit to India was in 2006 with his then wife, Jolie and children for Jolie’s film, A Mighty Heart.
